this thing looks freaking cool, what kind of power requirment is it going to have?

That looks awesome Zack! I am still waiting for someone to buy my press break so I can get a Titan in my shop… Now it looks like I need to post my oven on here as well… Nice black GE oven with a glass cooktop. I’ll let it go to the right home for $1200  :joy:

Very cool. Defnitely a good thing with the legs at that size. Bending over to try and put stuff in it would be a headache. My current one is 48 inches tall and I need to either extend it and make it a full 6 ft or something, lol.

Being that I used to sell industrial ovens for a living…

Programmable Ramps?
Mechanical Contactors or SSR’s for the heat?
Planning on taking the oven business into different areas? High temp for burnout/cure (thinking casting investments)?

What no applicator gun or spray booth?

Max temp?

Heat treat or anneal oven?

So is Cure control tracking part temp? and if so hows it doing it?

Yeah, that’s the thing about Powder coating. It’s kind of a “system” I would love to get into it someday. I first need to have a way to contain the powder. I’ve been thinking about buying or building a down draft table for a while. Not just for powder but for paint as well.

Overall this oven looks like a nice clean product. Maybe in the future it will be part of a larger family.

@langmuir-zack Could this be used to cure paint or is that dangerous due to the fumes?

@sr71xjet, Sam, it’s been long since we had you here.
How’s the new mill? I don’t believe that they have finished up yet. Maybe another week or so. They are getting everything ready.
No deposits, no pre-order. Just check back when they are ready. It will let you order one.
Hopefully you’re good.

Yes it is tracking part temperature. Two thermocouples and a PID controller. +/- 5 deg temperature accuracy.

Anybody???

Depends on the paint you are using. The Vulcan can get to the temperature you want, so you could leave it on a lower temperature if needed. Overall a well ventilated workspace could be very important depending on what you are using.

475 degrees Fahrenheit. So no annealing but you could use this to temper your metals.

It should be back in stock again in Late August, Early September.
