I was kinda thinking the spring mounting of the torch assy may accommodate any warpage

Sounds like the same kind of setup they would use for a pen marker but with a stronger spring.

Hey everyone! I have two versions of a spring loaded marker holder available for sale. One for the machine torch and one for the hand torch holder. These are great to mark on wood, metal, plastic, etc. On metal they can be used to mark the bend lines if you plan on creating a complicated piece that needs the metal broke on all different sides or even pierce points that require edge start.
