Cuts aren't completing when I use SheetCam

Hi all, I have cruised through some existing threads and didn’t quite find what I’m looking for so dropping this question here.

I have been helping my son with an art project and I have noticed when I cut in Sheetcam I get significantly worse parts. Cuts don’t complete 100%. It’s almost like the torch pulls up and starts moving off to the next cut before one is complete leaving about a 0.250" -piece section of the cut that’s uncut. The parts also have part of a pierce hole in them which is ugly…
I have attached the .tap file if anyone wants to take a look.
Here is the Jet Tool setup. I’m wondering if my lead-in being 0 and no lead-out is the issue?

Here is the operation of the outside cuts.

Here is the Inside operation

Thanks in advance for helping this noob learn CAM.
teef.tap (7.1 KB)

increase the pierce delay to .8 to 1 sec, especially for 11 gauge. it’s most likely not cutting thru initially when it first starts. up the plunge rate to 75.

also no need for 2 separate operations. just do 1 using outside offset and sheetcam will automatically will sort out the inside/outside cuts.

Ok, Thanks @nicaDd I watched a tutorial on the youtube and the guy said you needed to designate inside and outside. ya don’t know what ya don’t know… I appreciate the tips!

some people do use a separate operation for inside cuts if they are going to slow down the cut for say like holes or something that needs a slower feed rate but normally just doing how i mentioned will do.

oh and in the jet cutting tool, checkmark the " reverse cut directions". that’ll make the inside cuts cut CCW and outside perimeter cut CW.

feedrate is way too fast for 11ga. Don’t know the exact number since I don’t have the machine anymore

Thank you, Too bad you don’t have the link to that google doc.
I appreciate the support!

It was the original cut chart pinned in the plasma section of the forum when started hanging bout here. it is just a good starting point.

Thanks for the support here. I have a decent size job in the books and surely don’t want to scrap a full sheet because it looks like :poop:

Definitely too fast for 11ga with anything other than a Hypertherm.

45 amps at 90 ipm will get much better results.

A Hypertherm is in the future once I can chunk away a few cash projects
