We ship XR with some seriously good marine adhesive. Can’t think of anyone that has had leak at the joints. We have had a small handful (3?) that had pinhole leaks where the welds burned through where the stiffeners are attached. Haven’t seen that defect in a long time though.
Lookin good! If you have any questions, make sure you give our engineer Cameron a call.
Hey gunsmokehalo, I had a couple small leaks from doing my install but I think it may have been on the weld joints that I did not caulk originally. I drained my table today and used the adhesive on the weld joints just to be safe. I will find out tomorrow if there is anymore leaks.
I recieved my xr but oddly the 21.5" monitor is NOT touch screen? Am i doing something wrong?
Is the usb cable plugged in between the monitor and the pc?
ABF stopped by today to deliver my table. It was pouring rain. I have a long straight driveway that leads behind the pine trees to an open area of 100 feet square. He backed down the driveway as instructed and got to the opening and stopped his truck. He said, “this is far as I’m going”. He was obviously not having a good day. I told him how was I going to get the thousand pound boxes the rest of the 30 feet to the shop door? He said, “not his problem and if I didn’t like it he would leave them up by the road”. Then he closed the door and drove away. Shipping sure was expensive to have some derelict (ABF trucker) steel my table and drive away with it. ABF sucks!
Huh? So he did not leave by the road?
No. The driver did not. Now Langmuir is not answering the phone. It’s been over 48 hours and no one is working to resolve the issue.
You will need to contact ABF shipping to get a resolution.
We have been made aware and are in contact with ABF to resolve as quickly as we can. Apologies- it seems the driver was definitely at fault here.
Okay thanks for the update. I sent you another email highlighting my frustration. It’s been a week since the guy stole the table from me. I had scheduled this past week to assemble the table based on your correspondence about delivery. That week has come and gone. This puts me in a situation that is not going to be an easy fix.
Order 43001 paid in full but shop shows it has not yet shipped. Is there an issue or do I keep on waiting?
UPDATE:
Languimire finally got ABF to get my table out to me after almost 2 weeks in their possession from the day of their “attempt” to deliver it. They paid the extortion fee to have it shipped by a different company using an unnecessary smaller truck. The original semi tractor trailer made it all the way to the shop but refused to back up just 20-25 more feet so we wouldn’t have to unload in the pouring rain. I think that Languimire went above and beyond to get me my table. I do not know what angle the ABF driver was using to refuse to offload but he created a ton of unnecessary drama and held up production here in my shop. Thank you to the team at Languimire, I really appreciated all you did for me in these unforeseen circumstances. Today, I start the building process. It’s exciting for me because this is my first CNC table. Be patient folks, this gear is the best bang for your CNC buck IMO.
Any update on your order? And, when did you pay in full vs put a deposit?
We have had zero luck with trucks coming down our driveway to our new shop.
It’s very frustrating. Often senseless. My driveway.
It really couldn’t be a much straighter shot to my shop…
That should be a delivery driver’s DREAM delivery!
The worst one so far was us was when the building was being delivered on a flatbed the driver said he couldn’t make it down the driveway so we ended up having to unload it at a neighbors place then move it all again (all 42k# worth of building). Same problem when they delivered the insulation we ended up with these massive piles of 60’ x 6’ insulation at the end of the driveway we had to move down. Been a huge pain in the butt.
Pain in butt, but nice long driveway. I like it.
