Crossfire Pro not working after latest update - Solved by Re-installing

My machine was working fine until I updated it this morning.

Now it gets through random amounts of gcode and then just sits there firing. Control panel locked and useless until I unplug my plasma cutter. Then finally the machine errors out and tells me there was a fail code.

I’ve tried restarting my PC, I had to rerun an arc test which finally helped it get further into the code by 10 lines before doing it again.

It stops at a random line of code and just dry fires until I kill the power to my plasma. Then have to close fire control because the entire menu is stuck and locked saying stop and reset but nothing works. It’s bricked until closing the program.

This needs to be fixed. Luckily I had time to stand right by my machine today and wasn’t across the shop and let this thing dry fire for god knows how long

Did you update the table firmware, or PC program?

I believe I did the PC program then After it said the table firmware so I did both. I did do 2 udates

You will need to uninstall fire control, locate the root folder in program files or program files x86, delete that ( make sure to copy any .nc files you want to keep and paste them in a different folder if you don’t already) restart the computer, then reinstall fire control.

Try to run the table again.

After reinstalling it’s working. The motors wouldn’t move until I did the new update again.

Everything seems to be working fine for now. Time will tell.
