I have question about the assembly of CrossFire Pro. The x-axis lead screw looks to be bowed and when I jog the gantry at 300 ipm down the positive a axis it binds and stalls roughly 6 inches from the end. The lead screw appears to be at an angle that would not let it continue to move. To me the x-axis lead screw bearing mount looks like it is not correct. My table came with 3 lead screw bearing mounts. 2 of the lead screw bearing mounts are 1 7/8” tall and 1 of the lead screw bearing mounts is 2 1/8” tall. I have the lead screw bearing mount that is 2 1/8” tall installed on the x-axis gantry tube. Is this correct?
All three bearing mounts I received have 2 holes for mounting to the x or y gantries. I read in another post on the forum that I should have 2 bearing mounts of equal dimension, and one that is slightly smaller. The slightly smaller bearing mount is supposed to attach to the x-axis according the post. I received 2 small bearing mounts and 1 bearing mount that is bigger. I assumed this single bearing mount would affix to the x-axis gantry because their is only one. Being new to this I am trying to figure out if I have the right parts and then have them installed on the correct gantry.
Just wanted to say thanks for the advice. Once I contacted Langmuir, they sent a new mount out and got it installed and all the gantries are moving as they should be. Really appreciate everyone who helped me out and Langmuir for great support.
