I’m one of those annoying folks that wants to make my MR1 run before I make it walk…
I have a set of 4 clearpath servo’s Nema23 that I plan to replace my MR1 steppers with.
Will cutcontrol give me access to change my steps?
If I get my machine setup with the ClearPath Shinanigans and I need you all to compile a single new copy of the software with my new steps would you support me with that?
Ya’ll want to see a 300IPM super accurate MR1 right?

I mean… I would love an answer but ultimately so long as they don’t have a silly steps/travel setup in the controller. The ClearPath Servo’s do allow you to pick the incoming steprate. Just might not be what you want optimally.

This would require customization of our firmware and software, unfortunately. For now our focus is on delivering the machine in it’s stock form to our customer base first before we look to support anything nonstandard.
Yeah it certainly would be annoying to currently entertain such things I’m sure as you guys are trying to get the machines out (BTW how is mine cookin’ up?)… Could you let us know what the step rate out to the stepper drivers is from your controller?
