What’s everybody doing for chip disposal? I have around 20 55gal trash bags solid full of aluminum chips
Local scrap yard will buy them.

The scrap yard will only want them if you are careful to separate types of chips. If you have plastic, aluminum, and steel mixed together in one bag then it’s just trash.

That is true and I figured a given. At our repair shop they say we get a small fortune from non ferrous components. At the machine shop we don’t do enough brass or aluminum to separate. They pay tin scrap price for our shavings.
