This has been one of my problems from the get-go. My machine shows up in the tool library. I select it, accept it and close. But when I go to Set-up it’s nowhere to be found ugh. That’s how I ended up selecting Avid. I thought it was a generic cutter. Any clues as to what I’m doing wrong?
What do you mean?
There isn’t supposed to be any machine to choose.
The settings you require are in your tool library, and they only hold these specific parameters -
Name of tool, feedrate, and kerf width.
After which you alter your pierce delay at the post processing to match that of the thickness you’re cutting.

It’s likely that you’re selecting your machine in the manufacturing setup menu. You’ll be also able to select your machine again on the G-Code menu which is your very final menu before gcode is produced. This is the menu where your machine (post processor) has to be selected
Machine setup is akin to post-processor.

Thanks Guys, some how I got past it. Just need a little ahem I mean a lot more practice. My dry filter comes tomorrow. Getting beat up by a cold right now so not sure if I’ll get it together for my virgin run tomorrow night. We’ll see.
