hi, does anyone use bobcad or fastcam for programming , then importing file into firecontrol?

does anyone have a simple program posted here that can be used to make or modify a postprocessor for either?

What other software are you guys using besides fushion

stevesgun I use BobCad Cam too! V30. They are building a Post Processor for me right now. It may also work for your version too. I was laid up for awhile but have several programs to try out. I ran a test pro gram and did not have any problems. The real test will be when I run a full program. The settings are a little different but not hard to figure out.

Another THC misfire (Re titled )

test square.nc (991 Bytes) [test square v1] try this simple test square 2"x2" 1" hole at 100ipm .06 cut height .15 pierce height .6sec pierce delay use smart voltage by setting the thc voltage to 0 volts I am still suspect of the dry contact vs xfer connects ( jumper ) in the machine. These need to be in the dry contact position. Page 53 of the manual can you take a picture of this location. Clamp on material for sure!

I have bene using BobCad/Cam V34 for all my programing for a year now, I do both Cad and Cam in BobCad. The Post Processor works very well. You will need to be able to edit some g code. The only thing that doesn’t work is to be able to restart in the middle of the program. For me it isn’t a big deal because I can edit the program to start where I want it to. V30 will work just as well. BC Cam is friendlier than Fusion or Confusion as some call it.

BobCad modified one for me. At no charge because I had the one-year service plan.
