Well, with the help of the TinWhisperer and Richard at Beck’s Armory, I am now $2600 poorer.
A new Bambu X1Carbon is on the way.
You spent how much money on Bamboo
When you buy all the accessories and pay tax, it gets ugly fast.
Are the leaves considered accessories
it’s going to blow your mind.
I still can’t believe it.
Very excited. I already have a Zelda Tri-Force for my wife. She loves Zelda video games. Order pink filament—Mombo pink. I could make Jimmy something with it, also.
It’s dangerous to go alone.
Yes it is. TinMan is good at spending my money
I just printed a master sword for my dummy 13 the other day.
I have a Nintendo 64 with Zelda that I play with my kids.
I don’t play videogames. I just work so she can play videogames.
Someone finally got you at your own game. Couldn’t have happened to a nicer guy.
I think you will be surprised with the things you can and will make.
I made this wall “holster” for the hair dryer. There used to be an ugly wood hanger, that left anchors in the wall. By making this holster with a wide plate, it covered all of my previous sins.
Smaller insert photo shows same holster with the small mounting plate unpainted.

What filament did you use?
Hey Bigdaddy, You will love the X1 Carbon! I can’t believe I avoided getting involved in 3d printing for as long as I did. I only considered buying one after I started reading about how much fun Tinwhisperer was having after he acquired an X1Carbon. The X1Carbon has changed my whole approach to CAD/CAM. I have mine running almost everyday six to eight hours. total game changer.
@TinWhisperer should send a link to his 3d printer thread to Bambu Lab. I think they owe him a new printer… or a lifetime supply of filement!
They have sent me FedEx confirmation already. Oh boy…
Coming out of Perth Amboy, NJ, to Chattanooga.
That is the Elegoo Rapid PETG in white but I spray painted it for the color.
but but but, they’re on sale for $1200…?
I know right? $1400 in Tax and accessories? Damn.
Maybe he loaded up on another AMS or three.
I bought a gear wrench toolbox for the Bambu to sit on. That was $700
Also in that price.
I got hardened 4,6, and 8 hot ends.
A couple of plates are textured and smooth.
Glue sticks and a bunch of smalls.
Several colors of PETG, ABS, and whatever TinMan put on my list.
I also ordered a cover from Etsy due to all the airborne metal dust in the shop.
