Through my university, I have full access to all the Autodesk software possibilities. I will certainly download the Fusion360, but I was wondering if any other of their software offerings might even be better for designing and cutting on my soon to arrive Crossfire Pro. I’ve used the Autocad and the Revit and the Civil3D so far for other design functions.
doesn’t matter what you use, If it works for you…
I tried fusion360. personally did not like it, others swear by it .
I use Autocad, Inkscape and sheet-cam, other people hate Autocad… Just a mater of preference.
You can download all different software. Try them all and just pick one you like and and stick to it !!! Youtube is your friend .
There is not one software that will just work there is a learning curve for all…
I’m using AutoCAD 2007. I’m pretty versed at it and it works great for my projects. But, whatever works for you.
what do you use to tool path with? Does AutoCad 2007 tool path for you or do you use another program?
if by toolpath you mean post process the image for the firecontrol software, then presently only Sheetcam and fusion360 have that ability to be compatible
I have a gen 1 table, i am looking for an alternative to fusion 360 that i can design and create a tool path then post process to Mach 3.
there are so many to choose from since tou have Gen 1 table…
just use the little magnifying glass at the top of the screen and type design software…
there are numerous threads on different software option…and most of them are compatible with Mach3…
