Best leveling castors for table

What are the best castors for the pro table and where did you get them

These are what I used. I believe that the threads on the table legs is M12 metric. Check this out before you buy them. 5 years now, and they work great still.

I have the same castors as BigDaddy. Keep in mind that the actual wheels have a relatively small size and really require smooth floor surfaces to roll well.

If you are needing to roll on rougher surfaces, you might consider something like Eric did:

I have these…Amazon.com

The are more or less the same as the ones BD mentioned but the have that little silver protrusion which is the adjusting lever/rachet that slides in and out (the pic is the out position). May not seem like much but it makes adjusting easy.

I have the ones BigDaddy posted and the ones that follow in the picture. I like the pictured casters because they have a lever that pulls out to ratchet the mechanism, then pushes back in out of the way. I find that the adjustment wheel on the first is more difficult to move. Big difference is the mounting method - stud vs plate.

it has been a while since I have been around……but I will always take the stance not to put wheels on the legs of the Pro table.

the table was not designed for wheels on the legs…..and the forces applied to the legs can and will most likely force the table out of square over time….

I know as it happened to me….I had to rebuild my complete table to get it square again.

take a 4’ level and place a finishing nail 1’ from one end…..now push down on the end close to the nail…..this pushes the other end way up…..

these are similar forces applied to the legs when you put wheels on them.

build a rolling frame and put the table ON the rolling platform….not only does this allow the table to be moved it raises the table to a better working height.
