My brake didn’t come with the backgauge and I’d seen where someone else on here, or Facebook, didn’t get theirs either. Yes, I know it was extra. Yes, I ordered one. Just curios as to how many others haven’t received theirs, and if you had been given an ETA on shipping one out.
Mine was also missing about 8 punches as well. None of my 30 Deg Acute Angle Punches shipped.
My backgauge has also not arrived yet order #67620. I received everything else yesterday. A quick email to Langmuir should clear things up. Sam has been very helpful.
I don’t love hearing that. I hope mine comes with the backgauge I ordered. It’s mostly useless to me without it. I guess I’ll find out next week when it’s delivered.
Oh boy. Just checked the order confirmation page and it sure looks like my backgauge and 30° punches and dies didn’t ship yet. @langmuir-sam do you have any information you can share on when we can expect the rest of our orders?
We are out of the gantries needed to assemble the backgauge, and are waiting for them to arrive. They should be getting in on Monday. Once we get those in and inspect/pack them, everyone that didn’t get the backgauge in their order should start to see them shipping out sometime next week.
As for missing tooling, that is a more variable answer depending on the tooling you ordered. We are continuing to get waves of tooling shipments and will be sending out that as it arrives. We have recognized now that the customer appetite for tooling is more insatiable than we thought and have been significantly ramping up the production of that.
That’s a pretty reasonable time frame for the backgauge from the perspective of my machine arriving tomorrow. Not sure how long @Cmash has been waiting, hopefully not long. For me that’s probably enough time to get the stand put together and everything else on and just be getting familiar with the software and then I’ll have time to put the backgauge on when it shows up.
As far as the 30° acute punches and dies, I’ll live if it takes a few weeks for them to come. I don’t have any imminent projects that would require them.
Update on the Backgauges: Most of the parts from our suppliers have arrived but we still are waiting on one the gantries that got delayed in transit. They are still set to arrive later this week, and we will start shipping the backgauges soon after that.
Update on the Backgauges: Gantries are in! It will take about 3 days to send out all the back-orders, so everyone should have their back gauges by the end of next week, or worst case, early the week after.
Excellent. I’m all antsy in the pantsy to get my backgauge.
Anyone get confirmation that their backgauge has shipped yet? Lots of thumb twiddling and planning for multiple projects simultaneously happening over here in my garage shop.
(actually no thumb twiddling, but I’m being forced to work on way less fun projects

I haven’t heard anything other than what has been posted in this thread. It’s a little irritating to be honest, I’d think they’d at least communicate with those that are affected but nothing. Had I not started this thread I don’t think many would be aware of the issue at all. I’m still at a loss as to why they’d ship an incomplete order without some sort of note stating that pieces were missing.
I did get notice that they’re shipping the 1pc of 1" 16mm acute die from my order, by itself. 
I mean, might as well have thrown a backgauge kit in the box to fill in the extra space.
I did get notice this afternoon that they were shipping out the dies that were missing from my original shipment. Mine was like 8-10 pieces (can’t remember offhand) and they shipped in two different shipments, probably for weight concerns with shipping rates.
Nearing the end of the day Thursday and I still haven’t heard anything about my backgauge shipping. Anyone else?
I’m thinking no one is going to be getting them this week. Given that they are probably too big/heavy to ship UPS, it may be iffy on whether anyone will be receiving them early or mid next week even if they start making printing labels today.
Checked in with our packing and shipping teams. We got 12 out the door yesterday, didn’t get any out the door today, and will have 24 out the door tomorrow morning on freight shipping.
Any idea how far out they will be for the machines that were shipped out today? I got am email yesterday that said my machine would ship today then a follow up email that said the backgauge and some tooling is on backorder but there wasn’t an eta given for those items

I got an email today saying my backgauge has shipped. Will probably go out in the morning as they usually send out an email when a label is created then it goes out with the next shipment.
Sweet! Fingers crossed I’m in the lucky 24. I did get an email that one of the acute punches shipped.
For people just getting their machines now, I think a good estimate would be about two weeks from now.
@langmuir-sam Would you be willing to share how many backordered backgauges you have to ship out?
