Approaching 3 weeks since my machine was delivered sans backgauge. The machine looks real nice in my garage, but it’s not useful for much besides collecting dust without a backgauge.
About that estimate of 3 days to ship them all out to the people that have paid for them…
Yes - my mistake on that overly optimistic call. The inspection process took a day, and the person originally in charge of that was out sick for two days. We are still shipping them out and should get yours in today’s batch judging where you were on the backorder list. It looks like you were pretty much at the end of the list - #8. from the end.
8th from last, I’m just that kind of lucky guy.

*Edited to add that I haven’t gotten the email yet, but my order confirmation page now shows a FedEx shipping number for my backgauge.
Delivered this morning, and I got notification yesterday that a fair few of my backordered acute 30° punches have shipped as well.
Assembly time!
My machine got delivered yesterday and as others have mentioned it showed up without a lot of punches, dies and the backguage, bummer…
It does have a couple leaks and fluid scattered throughout the box and machine. I haven’t pulled the top cover off yet as i wanted to get the stand built and the machine on the stand. I found a leak at the left ram where the AN fitting threads into it. I tried tightening the tube nut but it was already tight so it’s either the tube that is the issue or where the fitting threads into the ram.
I have to call tech support on Monday anyway because mine is missing the material support levers (both of them). It looks like i was shipped two extra LH cover plates instead because i have 4 of those, 2 of the RH cover plates and no support levers. Simple mistake but no less frustrating as I have no time to assemble this once, let alone having to wait and go thru it a second time. I understand growing pains but like I said, it makes it no less frustrating, especially when it shows up missing other items too. This is all part of being an early supporter at a “discounted” rate.
