Hey guys. The Titan press break is awesome I have already made a lot of really neat truck parts. The only problem I have had with it is I keep losing the Allen key(which is one me lol) so I made a magnetic holder. If you want one they are 10 bucks plus shipping. I replaced the shcs with adjustable 5/16-18 handles from McMaster. There are cheaper options but they have been a real time saver

Quick release handles

I bought 4 different ones, to try out. The amazon plastic cheapos on the left - they work, but flex too much for my preference, they are $15 for 2, and are the only ones that don’t come with a threaded stud. The 2nd from the left is a zinc unit from McMaster 2832N21 at $18 it’s very well made. The 3rd from the left is McMaster 5634K26 at $15.35 ea, rubber coated grip and decent quality. The 4th is McMaster 2832N34 and are $11.25 ea, also decent quality and are the smallest of the lot. I h…

Dang. I may just go ahead and try out some of the 5/16 spring loaded levers or knobs I designed for 40/40 extrusion when setting up my new Swag tube roller and convert my machine over to levers too unless I find they get in the way too much. I’ve got lever knobs designed for both spring engage, and spring disengage, so I can even see which I like better (my guess is spring engaged so I can just realign them if they get in the way, but otherwise stay engaged).

Good modification, this will be a nice quality of life improvement when running the machine, and should be waaaay less than $126 printing my handles.

You’re really going to like what I’m working on right now. Unfortunately it’s taking enough engineering time and iterations, and is sensitive enough to material that I’m probably going to be offering them here for sale rather than free designs because I think there’s real value in the product, and even having to buy them from me, the prices will be quite reasonable. Let’s just say it’s tooling related and I bent this 0.032” strapping with the 4 way V die, using its largest opening.

I bent this 3/16x2 steel strap with the same die setup. I bump bent it, and could have bent it to a tighter radius, I just didn’t on this test.

Edited to add: This is just the tip of the spear. Making normal bends is only a fraction of what is possible with what I’m working on.
