I needed to realign my machine (all this in another post) and therefore had to remove lots of assembled parts and loosen main frame bolts. Upon re-assembly, I realized that I wanted to stiffen the new alignment. I mounted two 12"x32" 1/8" pieces to the frame which will hopefully keep it square. Then I decided not to screw down the water pan which I had previously seam welded, so that I could much more easily pull it and clean it in the future.
So I used 10-24 x1/2: bolts and bonded sealing washers to fill the 12 pan holes that come with the machine. I then could easily slide in the water pan and the new brace panels provide a great support for the pan which otherwise falls through the frame. My drain is in the back and goes into buckets. I also taped a bent steel rod to give the drain piping system more support.
