I used 2" angle iron and 3/16 plate. If you build these, be sure to move the threaded rod a little further out so the casters will still spin 360 deg. A design error on my part, but (for my purposes) not worth rebuilding.
Clever design. Nice job.
Nice. I’m going to modify the whole table. I REALLY hate stem casters. But this is a great solution until I get my other design finalized.
just came across this - what an awesome idea!
Can you automate this so that each threaded rod runs on its own nema 23 motor so that it auto levels
Wait…an auto leveling table
Give @Cletus a week and it will probably happen.
Copy that!
Hmmm!
Arduino Controller, 2-axis accelerometer, 3-actuators , 3-drivers, some mechanical bits and a touch of C+ code. One leg will be fixed the other three actuated. Do you want any pilot LED’s on there too, or maybe a TFT display??
My wife just came into the room and asked me what the loud crash was. It was your reply going over my head and hitting the wall.
hahahahaha!
You can’t just pipe the leveling graphic to the HMI display that I know you are planning anyway?
And, by the way, you build it, I’d prolly buy it, just for the “geek factor”
