Thats what i was wanting to do . Do you know if the probe is sealed? Coolant proof?
According to Langmeyer, it is completely sealed. It and the toolsetter both.
*Langmuir.
Very cool! Nicely done.
Looks great. Post this over at printables.com or thangs.com. You gotta love your X1C, I’ve had mine for 4 months,

I designed a set of plugs for the coolant drains to be used when milling non-metallic materials that don’t use coolant. This works to keep dust / chips out of the coolant system.
They can be “locked” with not too much force, and “unlocked” by twisting.

Made 2 dust shoes… carbon fiber/Onyx… Plan on using my machine for alum/wood and trying to reduce chips/dust flying around too much…
I want a spare clamping nut. Nice heavy one like what comes with it. Do you have a source for one?
You can only get them from langmuir as they are not standard, and they actually made a mistake and decided to just keep making them that way. I’m not sure if they’re in the store yet, but contact support and they’ll hook you up.
