25T Users Software Feature Requests and Issues

So, is there any chance your reply can be taken to mean we should definitely get some sort of update next year? Mainly because I agree, the software feels about 80% finished, and though it’s usable, there are some ways where it could be dramatically improved in some pretty simple ways that are mostly UI or workflow related.

“ I don’t see any updates on the Titan coming out until next year”
could also mean December 2026…or in reality never, since the only ‘update’ effectively made no difference in the UI or fixed the bugs.

I can only assume they are not capable of changing the code in house, and likely outsource it to India - I’ve asked this several times but cannot get any straight answers as to who specifically at langmuir is responsible for implementing, approving or making changes to the UI or software.

Others have mentioned cracking the software to make the required, much needed and long overdue changes, as simply waiting for langmuir to do it, is delusional at this point. It would take about 20 minutes for a software engineer to fix the majority of problems with the UI, which tells me they aren’t going to do it at all, let alone ‘sometime next year maybe’

I am of the thinking “if you want it done correctly, you have to do it yourself” unfortunately, coding software is not in my wheelhouse of knowledge.

Well, I decided to take the matter on my hands and reverse engineered the bendcontrol.jar  .

Dear @langmuir-sam

FYI, the collective “we” could take care of all these issues in a couple days, just open-source the java source code. Just push it over here, Langmuir Systems · GitHub , and we’ll take it from there.

git push -u origin main

YES! PLEASE! It’s been long enough and it’s clear langmuir is not going to do it, since they did not even fix the most basic issues the first update.
