Z up after cut complete

Is it possible for my Z drive be set to raise like 2’ after cut has finished? Using Sheetcam. Thanks

You would have to modify the post processor to set the retract height to 2”. That will raise the retract height for all of the cut loops in the program.

It shouldn’t be hard to modify in Sheetcam, since there is an option to modify the post. Look for the line with 25.4(mm) and change it to 50.8.

Edit: I just modified mine. Go to machine options and select the post processor tab. Click on edit post and find the “on pen up” section of the post near the bottom. The circled part is 25.4 by default. I changed mine to 50.8(mm), which is 2”.

IIRC, Sheetcam has a ‘Parking’ setting where you can specify a location for the tool to go at the end of the program. It should contain a Z parameter.
