My z axis is making a vibration/noise on the down stroke at time, I’ve tried lubing up any contact surfaces well but still exists and don’t recall it ever making the sound.
Functions like it should just the stupid noise…
Any thoughts?

Have you tried to adjust the eccentric bearings?
You’ll need two wrenches or a thin pair of pliers and a wrench 7/16.
You access these on the right hand side of your z-axis.
Inside the z-axis assembly you’ll see that the two bolts holding the bearings on the right hand side have flats on the end to grab with a very small box wrench or a pair of pliers.
Then you loosen the 7/16 not adjust the eccentric bearings by turning the end of the bolt where you’re holding on the flats 5mm?.
Usually this adjustment is made at the tightest spot of your typical stroke range on the z-axis.
There is a walk-through about this in the pro assembly on the langmuir main site. I believe it was a video.
“Use a 5mm wrench to turn the eccentric bearing axle counter-clockwise to reduce the bearing preload.”
If it’s still working I would be tempted maybe not to mess with it.
Spray the bearing at bottom of z axis screw with wd40 or 3in1 oil, while moving up/down and the z axis screw as well.
I had the same problem. Would make a strange vibration noise on the down stroke. Worked fine for a while but then started firing the torch too high. My root cause was dirty contacts on the IHS switch. Cleaned it up well and the noise was gone. Best I can figure is the dirty switch was ever so slightly breaking contact on the way down and causing the motor to flutter.
