Alex…where were you about 5 days ago? We needed your input!
Reporting back in. I was preparing for my second cut today. I had turned the machine off and on a few times while I adjusted things. While the Yeswelder 65 was plugged in, but off, there was a bang and there she blew. It popped the circuit breaker and fried itself. Incredibly disappointing to go pop while turned off. It’s disappointing when products just don’t work. I was warned! Guess I’ll have to up my budget.
Thanks for reporting back. Sorry for your situation.
I had a Miller welder do that once, so don’t feel bad.
Sorry im late to this party. I bought a cut-55ds no hf to pair with a 2x2 crossfire that i bought on a shady marketplace deal. Do you have pics on how you wired it?
The 2x2 Crossfire is fairly simple. It doesn’t have THC or IHS, so the ONLY control you have is Torch On/Off. The Crossfire control box has a two pin barrel connector that connects to relay contacts within the Control Box. The contacts are a simple switch closure. You need to find a connector on the Plasma cutter that controls Torch On/Off.
Do you have the manual for the Plasma Cutter?
The Yeswelder has a 2 pin plug right on the front that controls the on/off trigger.
