Got the table built, setup and connected. Once I connected with Firecontrol I was able to start jogging the machine. I quickly found out that the y-axis motors are not reversing back in the positive direction. When I hit either the up or down button, it continuous to come to me, or negative direction. I had to remove the lead screws and manually get it back to the middle of the table to continue to troubleshoot. I reloaded the software and updated the firmware and nothing has changed. Help??
The direction pin on the Y stepper driver could be stuck, the wire broken/disconnected, or the screw terminal just not tightened well enough.
Do you have a diagram I can reference to troubleshoot? Not sure where to look at what you described.
Sorry, I don’t have any info on where the Y driver is, I have a different CrossFire and I couldn’t find any photos of the inside of the CrossFire Pro enclosure that I could reference.
Maybe someone @langmuirsystems can guide you through this.
