XR tool path post processing for Router Mod

Good day all.

I am hoping a kind patron could assist me by pointing me in the right direction regarding the programming and post processing of designs in order to cut foam using a retrofit router on the XR table.

I’ve searched around and I’ve only found that there has been some success using sheet cam by modifying the Gcode with in that software. Now I don’t use and have never used sheet cam, I primarily stick with Fusion for everything and would prefer to maintain a single design/process platform for simplicity purposes. So to elaborate on my question farther.

- Is it possible to post process from fusion and use fire control in order to control my Z-axis

-If so, please explain how I could attempt this

I am considering downloading Langmuires Cut control for the MR1 to maybe use that programming for controlling the XR as an “gantry mill” instead? Not sure if this would be a viable work around or not, nor do I know if there is cross compatibility. Thoughts?

Also, I am not concerned about a flat work surface as I am not making anything very precise. As stated this is just for foam and my intent is to cut some pockets. Super simple so I don’t feel the need to spend a couple thousand bucks on a router table.

Thanks in advance,

Kyle
