Xr hypertherm cut quality

The problem I had with getting the tiny bevel out was lower my amps to 40 from 45 and to put a little air dryer with beads on my cutter. Good luck

I tried between 45 and 65 amps. I defintely have dry air. Running a aftercooler, hf refr drier and a motorguard. Also have a 3ft pipe style desiccant filter

Well… got rid of most of the taper on 3 sides. One side is still around 5 degrees. But, i cant get the cut to clean up. Maybe i dont have enough scfm??

Tried everything from 40amp to 65, every combination of speeds and distances to material. Cant think of anything else to try.

Thoughts ? Anyone have a 65 and an example of 1/4?

Just shy of a 5 degree bevel on on side. The other sides are the same direction but within acceptable quality.

The cut itself isnt smooth, you can feel the cut ridges with your finger

The cuts will smooth out over time as the Y axis v-rollers wear in on the rails as well as the X-axis bearings.
