Where do I find a breakdown list and photos of the factory provided XR motor and gantry assembly? Looking specifically for X-axis pre-load bearings locations, as my new XR assembly is pretty sloppy when trying to tram the head. Is there any torque information available when setting the end bearings, something besides “tighten the 1/4” hex screw just tight enough so you can’t turn the ball screw by hand". The information in the assembly guides seems to say 'use your best judgement by feel".

Thanks for reaching out. Yes, I’ve seen these videos online. I was hoping for a few more details, like torque specs and so on. I have watched these videos and am about to start on the Y-axis. Have wondered why Langmuir has used such a mix of metric and Imperial hardware. I am using the assembly of the XR and learning the programming as a stepping stone. Does Langmuir buy their sub-assemblies from suppliers inside and outside the US and just sell the kits? No problem either way, I’d like to know more about the company itself.
