X Axis sticks at both ends

Greetings, everyone. I got a new (to me) crossfire for next to nothing. It’s an older model that uses Mach3. I got it connected and can finally jog, but when I jog the X-axis, it sticks when it reaches the ends of the gantry. I think it’s out of alignment. Any help on how to attack this would be greatly appreciated.

Chris

Welcome to the forum!

We have seen cases where the wrong brackets were used in assembling the X & Y axis. They look similar, but are slightly different in length and, therefore, bind at the end of travel.

EDIT: See post:

Hello Again. Me!

I was not around during the Mach3 phase of designing and computational stuff…

I saw a couple videos of the build process, too. @TomWS is saying, okay and yes.

Also, look how the entire build was performed. It will help diagnose other issues when they arise.

P.S. Also, the site (MAIN SITE) has tutorials still for assembly. I saw this in one of the assembly pages:

It may not solve your current issue but it will help level your machine which is important.
