Having issues with x motor mount attachment to gantry tube- should the motor mount and x axis lead screw mount holes be spaced the same? My motor mount holes do not line up with holes in gantry tube. If they are drilled wrong can I drill new holes inside the path and mount or does the spacing need to be exact in order for the carriage to find its location ?

check to make sure you have the correct mount for the axis. i believe the Y axis mounts are slightly bigger in size than the X mounts.

it happens. i did the same thing with x axis bearing mount.
It’s possible the gantry tube is installed upside down
