Why does it always have to be a game?

So I go in to look at tooling for the titan and was not really sure what I need and what they had.

So I looking and all of a sudden i get a banner ad that if I order in the next 15 mins I get free shipping.

WOW 15 mins, 15 whole mins. What a joke, So I go back in today and fill my cart and think maybe it will pop up again. NOPE

I feel like not even making the order now.

Ok now I feel better

Lol

Well, you could call and get a MIL discount (disabled vet here) so you can order later online. Then when you order, the code is no longer available. Maybe the lady gave me an old one?

So you place an order anyway and wait for shipping.

Few days later it’s all on sale :person_facepalming:

On the plus side my extreme gooseneck did not ship with my punch and 4-way die so I cancelled it; downside is that my punch and die are stuck in Texas due to the storms.

Well, not to spill any beans, but I know where they are located, and I drive by it daily on the way to work… the ice is gone in N Houston.

Langmuir got it out fast, it’s FedEx that’s dragging ass!

Delivery wa set for Monday, but FedEx has been holding onto it and hasn’t moved.

It will probably show up on your door before that gets updated. :winking_face_with_tongue::joy:

FEDEX has been a big disappointment for a long time now in my area. Can’t count on them. I was told by one of their managers to keep his number. He said they change personnel so often that every day is a crap shoot. Sorry FEDEX, this has become your reality.

I agree totally. I make an effort on all my orders not let them use FedEx. They have gone from the best carrier to the worst. Even USPS is better now. Some things I can’t control, and on average, they have a problem 3 out of 5 times. They use a blanket “natural service interruption” waiver all the time.

Yeah I don’t think that’s going to happen

It’s still in Texas, and my dad said things are a bit more tame out there. FedEx just saw the name on the package and said fuck this guy he can wait lol

Luckily I have pretty good luck with all the companies delivering to me.

I got the free shipping thing a while back…. After I placed my order, I went back in to show my wife what I had bought.

Or the discount thing, the next day after I placed my order for the Arcflat table.

On the other hand, it’s nice to see the actual clearances firsthand.

Waiting for their 4” and 2” extreme gooseneck dies to be in stock so I can order them which will happen after these storms are all said and done with.

Thanks!

I’ll finally have the real thing today though with FedEx only being a week late

I know you guys were fast and shipped it right away, but man FedEx is really lagging it.

We just got those back in stock today. I thought of you first thing, haha.

Perfect! But I canceled the order on the 4” gooseneck actually, and placed the order for the 8”!

I figured I could do more with the larger punch anyway if/when I need it.

I have to wonder if my package is damaged or something.

My punch and die were out for delivery yesterday, but they never got delivered and are back at their “facility” just 15mins away.

Doesn’t even say if it went out for delivery again today but no attempts have been made at all.

What the hell FedEx.

@langmuir-sam FedEx delivered a damaged box, but not to worry only the smallest dings appear on the punch (won’t affect function).

The 4-way die came out perfect as the box was torn/open where the punch was.

All the wrapping you guys do kept everything well protected.

Funny how damn near perfect I drew and printed the punch

While I can’t afford a Titan, the tooling will work great on my small press brake.

Can’t wait until my other HD punch arrives along with my gooseneck.

I’ll have to buy some acute punches next when I get a chance.

Sorry to hijack @knick !

Those 3d printed versions do look pretty darn close the actual punches. How long did it take you to model those in fusion?

I’d say about 1-2 minutes or so?

Glad I printed the gooseneck too because I was having clearance issues for a bit until I decided the best solution was to cut down the center post of my press.

@72Pony I should add, I drew it as fast as I did because I just saved the profile image and placed it as a canvas in Fusion.

Then I sketched out the tang, since we already know it’s dimensions and scaled the canvas to fit.

From there, a quick trace and it’s done!

The only part that doesn’t match exactly is the radius which I’m surprised to see is freaking huge. I didn’t know they’d be so big so they’ll only be used for thicker material.
