Well, you could call and get a MIL discount (disabled vet here) so you can order later online. Then when you order, the code is no longer available. Maybe the lady gave me an old one?
So you place an order anyway and wait for shipping.
Few days later it’s all on sale
On the plus side my extreme gooseneck did not ship with my punch and 4-way die so I cancelled it; downside is that my punch and die are stuck in Texas due to the storms.
FEDEX has been a big disappointment for a long time now in my area. Can’t count on them. I was told by one of their managers to keep his number. He said they change personnel so often that every day is a crap shoot. Sorry FEDEX, this has become your reality.
I agree totally. I make an effort on all my orders not let them use FedEx. They have gone from the best carrier to the worst. Even USPS is better now. Some things I can’t control, and on average, they have a problem 3 out of 5 times. They use a blanket “natural service interruption” waiver all the time.
It’s still in Texas, and my dad said things are a bit more tame out there. FedEx just saw the name on the package and said fuck this guy he can wait lol
Waiting for their 4” and 2” extreme gooseneck dies to be in stock so I can order them which will happen after these storms are all said and done with.
Glad I printed the gooseneck too because I was having clearance issues for a bit until I decided the best solution was to cut down the center post of my press.
@72Pony I should add, I drew it as fast as I did because I just saved the profile image and placed it as a canvas in Fusion.
Then I sketched out the tang, since we already know it’s dimensions and scaled the canvas to fit.
From there, a quick trace and it’s done!
The only part that doesn’t match exactly is the radius which I’m surprised to see is freaking huge. I didn’t know they’d be so big so they’ll only be used for thicker material.
