Which firecontrol post processor to use?

in the dropdown menu there’s 2 options for firecontrol.

firecontrol v1.6
and
firecontrol v1.6 TD MOD retract

I’ve tried searching and come up with nothing. what’s TD mod?

Just use the Firecontrol v1.6. I don’t know what the TD MOD retract means, but it is someone’s modification of the post processor to add something.

EDIT: I post processed a file with the TD MOD retract version and found that it adds 2 seconds to the first pierce and changes the retract height to 2 inches. I believe the TD in this case means Thermal Dynamics and I think those machines need a longer delay for the first pierce due to a 2 second pre-flow before firing the torch for the first time.

Spot on, this was an update I had l Les help me with when I first got my table. I was using a TD42 at the time and it needs additional time on the first pierce. I didn’t know it made it into the released posts.
