Bobcad is building you a post processor for the corssfire pro ? if so that’s cool, I asked langmuir if they hadone they said no, The crossfire used Mach 3, which I use to run 2 cnc wood routers and a cnc engraver. Right now I take the DXF file into bodcad to change if need be or use bobcad to go from drawing file to convert to DXF. Sheet cam is very easy to post a DXF file. If you get a full bobcad post would be neat to know how it works. Thanks
I’m in the same boat with Fusion, been trying to learn it for 4-years! My current workflow is:
CNC Router-CamBam and Mach4
Plasma-Inkscape and Sheetcam to Crossfire
CO2 Laser-Lightburn to Ruida 6432
I also use SketchUP to “visualize” whatever I’m making.
I use SheetCam. I think it’s the best for now because that’s what most people I know use these days. I just support it with Qcam once in a while
The BobCad Post works great! Just a couple of things that I need to contact BobCad on how to use… Fusion will pick a full string automatically, but I am having trouble doing so in BobCad. Another thing is that with Fusion Posting you can do a run from here if there is a misfire, Can’t with the BobCad Post.
