What is going on? Ive been cutting great for a week. Cleaned everything up and started again and the tip fell off. The plastic threades on the shield shattered. Replaced it with a Hypertherm consumable. Ran a few good cuts and then the machine skipped around on its Y axis as seen in the photo. Again cleaned everything up and now all the cuts are slagged up as seen in the photos. What?

looks like your consumables blew. i run a table at work and thats a sign of wore out consumables. try replacing your electrode or nozzle or both
