I know I have seen the specs but my Forum “search-fu” is lame today. What am I looking at to avoid having to go with Compatibility mode? Gonna buy a mini for the shop and looking for the sweet spot, (least cost that will run the display)
Nothing really.
Just stay away from any Ryzen ‘u’ APU/CPU.

This is one you want. The Intel CPU does not have a power-saver mode that would shut down or attempt to control the USB to the control board. It used to be $139. Oh well, it is a great little computer with a large SSD and good RAM. Many of us use this version. Any one that the CPU has an H ,S or U is a power saver chip. Example; i5 8600U or H

And the video works without compatibility? Sweet.
Yeah, prices all skyrocketed but, at least we all have AI data centers coming to the neighborhood.
