What about a simple relay on the USB interface (comp to controler). Held closed with all limit switches (in series) closed, allowing connection. Then if any one switch opens, relay opens disconecting the usb.
Some users mention keeping the connecting USB handy, as a quick yank to avoid a crash. If it’s that easy, it should be easy to interrupt with a relay.
