Could you ever trust somebody that much?
No way! It’s not even a matter of trusting the person… way too much that could go wrong.
I’m with Erik, that is begging for failure!
Sort of like skiing down those ravines!
Touché .
Robbed and remade this design from makers world to work with plasma cutting.

Will try to cut some of these designs for real but my XR has been busy eating 1/4" Aluminum lately.
Today’s Offerings also gleaned and reworked from Maker’s World.

Another one remaded from TEMU product about 14" tall made some minor tweaks.

I like this one a bunch!!! Yes…I can see the faces.
I am working on a design…we will see if I complete it in metal.
I remixed on the items from my previous post and another heart from another printable artist.

It would be interesting to see how that turns out with plasma. It looks like water was jetted out or laser-cut.
I think that is the 3D Printed version. The various thicknesses of material would be hard to do with Plasma cutter (other than multiple pieces).
This is how I envisioned it without the heart included, just for illustration.
Cut this as one piece and paint brown, black or silver:
Then cut these pieces to lay on top to give depth. Paint these pieces green:
Then the roses would be cut out. Painted red and then bonded on top:
The look you saw in the other post is a rendering from Fusion:
Now I am thinking “layered” might be over-rated. One of you fancy powder coaters could make this look nice.
Here is a flattened version of that file:

(If you use it publicly, you might want to give credit to ArgiCJ on Printables, and Jura Švébiš | Printables.com)
I would not be afraid to take a swing at the layered pattern after paint. That is where locktite 682(?) comes in, even decent superglue.
'Cept my girlfriend does not like roses.
Sounds like some reverse psychology there. Buy her a a dozen this year and watch her face.
What I’ve done for my wife a couple times over the years is I’ll just phone the flower store and order a ridiculously big tall flower bouquet and have it delivered to her office. She says it’s embarrassing but I know she loves it.
Been there, tried that.
“I told you I don’t like roses. Thank you though. Next time, no roses.”
And second TEMU heart.
TEMU WRAPPED HEARTY.dxf (259.3 KB)
The DXF is about 16" across. You may want to make to larger .
I may repost this as a double layer with white backer
Well, I can understand that! Her coworkers probably know what you look like with that scary smile! I WOULD be embarrassed to get flowers from you!
I think Tom might be right. I keep telling you “Less is more. Try it without the balloon this year!”
Another heart box project with flat pattern I designed this morning.
I am curious if this will work? I don t have time to cut it my self currently
designed for 14 ga
could also paint one side of the sheet a different colour before folding for a neat effect.

The flat pattern has relief slits so you should be able to hand form this .
