Using a ptm 80 torch head on a longevity forcecut 40d

Hello,

Im looking to swap out the torch head over to a machine style (straight) but keep using the same consumables. Ive read some one using the ptm 80 but no other information on the swap itself. Any info on swapping to a straight torch head would be appreciated.

Unless you buy a Trafimet S45 machine torch you will have to change consumables. Now you could use the ptm or iptm 60 machine torch but the consumables may or may not work well on it.

Thanks for the quick reply. I dont mind switching to different consumables if needed. How difficult is it to switch to the ptm 60 torch head? Which consumables work best with it?

So , I Found a few options for a ptm 60 but many seem to be located in china so I question the quality. There is an entire setup that looks to be reputable but has quite a price tag and includes the hose as well. Looking to just replace the torch head. Any suggestions on a reputable source? I dont mind paying for quality.

A real Tecmo PTM machine torch head kit will cost around $200 + shipping.

The torch you posted is NOT a Tecmo torch its a Chinese torch. Its just a play on words to make you think its a Tecmo torch. But it should work on your Chinese plasma cutter just fine.
