Used Crossfire help

What should a newbie be looking at when going to look at a used Crossfire?

If possible, have them run both axis to their limits. If the motion isn’t smooth, fixing it will be hard.

Does it have a Z axis? Check it for smooth operation. Confirm that the IHS (Initial Height Sensing) cycle places the torch at the proper height for piercing (0.150")

Does it have THC installed? This is harder to check unless they can actually show it working. Check that the electronics boxes are relatively clean and free of corrosion.

Does a Plasma cutter come with it? If so then they should be able to, at least, demonstrate hand cutting.

I’m sure there are more things, but these, to me, are key. Others will chime in with their wants…
