I am trying to index with Sheetcam I have split my DXF in two halves. when I run the operation on the top half it adds cuts to open lines that will be completed on the second operation.
I have circled the unwanted cuts in red.
any help would be appreciated.
Without going into the details of your design, I highly recommend that your indexed regions be smaller that the real extents of your machine. This will allow you a much greater degree of freedom on where you break each line that crosses between regions.
If you can post the whole SVG file then it will be easier to see how I would break up the image. I’m off to a family outing, but I’ll take a look at it later.
