I installed fusion 360 on to a laptop prior to getting the laptop from you guys to play around and get some practice .Is there a way to transfer it from one laptop to another or do I have to get a hold of Autodesk and talk to them about it ?

Activation for Fusion is done based on a user account. When you re-download Autodesk Fusion 360 on the new laptop, just make sure to login when you download the software from Autodesk’s website and also when you open up the software for the first time. This will sync your hobbyist license to your new computer and you’ll be good to go!

I have Fusion on my Laptop and my Desktop. Just login and your stuff’s there. Desktop is stronger but laptop sometime is more convenient. Install and use the same login and you should be good to go.
