I have a CrossFire on order and plan on ordering Razorcut 45 and the rest of the goodies after the first of the year.
I difficult is it to remove and reinstall the hand torch from the CrossFire table to use free hand if I need to?

Loosen two bolts and the torch is free.
Welcome to the forum.
No worries. In a year you will buy a machine torch and it will remain on the table and you would have your hand torch free to use away from the table.
You know the rules: You will always justify more expenses toward your tools/toys.
People do what you are suggesting all the time. You will just want to be meticulous with how you mount the torch cable on the support rod so you could easily remove and reattach. That might be a good application for the removeable zip ties.

That is dispicable. We have just met and I am already talking you into buying some things you did not plan to buy. Oh well, there is always your Christmas list!
Thanks for the reply’s,
And thanks for the Welcome!
Jim, It’s not hard to talk me into more tools. I have not purchased the Plasma cutter yet, so maybe I will just get the machine torch to start with. Then after I sell my old plasma cutter, if I think there is still a need I can buy a hand torch.
I made a very poor mistake when I bought my plasma cutter. I had the choice between one hand torch, two hand torches or a machine torch. Well I did not have a use for the machine torch and I thought two hand torches sounded good. Turns out I really suck at cutting anything with the hand torch.
I then bought the plasma table and paid $900 more for the machine torch. OUCH!!! Now I have two hand torches that have had less use than the encyclopedias I bought in 1985.
Huh. I have two plasma cutters, two machine torches and 3 hand torches, only 1 CFPro table, and the machine torches go through the cable chains I installed.
It is nice you have a place to store one of them, when not in use!
Thought about just pulling the 45a machine touch out, then a couple weeks ago, had to use it as I had a power supply issue. Using the scope ring attachment, it was all of a minute to swap the two. I spent more time moving VIM connections and work lead.
Boy Jim you got that right!!!
didn’t take very long to go shopping for the machine torch!!
You just need another plasma cutter!
