Torch no longer fires

this morning did about half an hour cutting on my crossfire XL, after lunch I could not get the torch to fire anymore. new cut file nor any straight cuts would work. I noticed the live voltage went from 0 to 9.8 for the duration when the relay clicked on until it gave error message then clicked off. I tried all kinds of troubleshooting to no avail.
fire control version 21.1.5
LS-THC V1.10
crossfire V1.3l5
Everlast 52i using raw voltage

Air pressure at 75 on front of the Everlast?
Is the electrode free? You should be able to push it up and it should snap back down.

air pressure was ok, however the tip was not moving because the electrode was totally burnt up which seized movement of the nozzle. changed the tip and nozzle, everything is working as it should.
Thank you so much Bigdaddy2166

Happy cutting. Electrodes are relatively cheap. You’re a lucky guy not to trash the torch. From now on, check it periodically.

@31fordguy welcome to the forum!

@TomWS
Any more Toms show up and we might have to start spraying for them. :wink: :joy:
