hello, AK here. i just bought a crossfire table and im looking for some feedback. thanks in advance!
I have a hypertherm powermax 1250 plasma cutter with a 14pin cpc connector. I need a torch fire cable. one end 14pin cpc. the other end to be a male 5.5mm x 2.1mm adapter cable end.
my question here is, what’s the best fix?
anyone else have this problem? what was your fix? make your own cable?
This Ebay listing claims this will fit “Hypertherm” machine but I don’t know if all CPC ports are the same with all models of Hypertherm machines. And then you can configure the correct pins. You will need the torch on/off (polarity does not matter) and the other two that monitor the voltage (polarity will matter from torch and work lead).
Here is an AI response:
CPC Connector for Hypertherm 1250
The CPC port on the Hypertherm 1250 uses a 14-pin Circular Plastic Connector (CPC), which is a standard AMP/ Tyco connector. This connector is specifically designed for interfacing the plasma cutter with CNC machines and includes pins for the plasma start signal (pins 3 and 4), the arc transferred signal (pins 12 and 14), and an analog DC voltage output for torch height control (pins 5 and 6). The CPC port is standard on the Powermax 1250 and is required for mechanized cutting with a machine torch.
