hey Ladies and Gentlemen…
I am still alive…still burning metal…

I have been very busy these days…

what made me busy?..gald you asked…I RETIRED!!!

yup at age 55 I decided enough is enough…I figured that the extra 5 years I needed to get a better pension was better spent doing things to keep me alive…

So I dropped the career and started building my shop…still not done…burning a lot of metal…and making money…

I will be making some time to return to the forums as things have settled down…

I have missed this place…

Well, what took you so long? And I can understand that you’d be busy now. When I was working, I was technical team lead on world-wide (AKA, round the clock) development teams. Now, retired, I’m busier than ever. AND LOVING IT!

thanks …my wife is still working…ahahahahah…but she has stepped down a bit from her executive position down to a lower position…semi-retirement for her…but still goes into the office 7-4 every day…leaving me to do what I want…

Congratulations! I’ve got a bit under 3 years til my plan for 55 as well. I tell people I’ve got a solid 15 years of full time projects in the pipeline. I’m really looking forward to full time on projects!
