Trying to figure out why when i do my tool path in the simulation it pauses for about 5 seconds after it makes the pierce before it starts to move. this is on every pierce. It then is put into my G-Code.
Copy and paste the first 20-30 lines of the code here. It sounds like you entered a very long pierce delay in your tool settings.
Your plunge rate is 1 inch per minute. It’s taking a long time to lower from pierce height to cut height. That’s why the delay seems really long.
That should be set at 50-60 inches per minute.
