Titan 25t punch and die sets

Hi all -Just wondered what everyone recommends for punch and die sets to start with ? Will be bending .060” -.250”

There are two main base packages you will want to select.

  1. The 4-way die and 88 degree gooseneck punch +5x 4-way die holders is a good really basic set or a good price. The main limitation is only being able to bend 90 degrees or wider.
  2. If you want acute bending capabilities (angles tighter and more narrow than 90 degrees), you will want to get all of the acute dies and an acute punch instead. The Standard 30 degree punch is a good choice.

From there, some of the punches might be good ideas to include as well:

  1. If you are bending thick aluminum very thick steel (3/8”), then you will want to get the heavy duty 35 degree punch.
  2. If you are making deep U-bends (two 90 degree angles very close to each other), getting the extreme gooseneck punch really opens up your design space.

For all of those segments, if you want something really basic, getting 2x16” segments is an okay choice for easy usability. The better option is probably to go with 16”, 8”, 4”, 2x2”, and a 1” segment for each of those sets so you have the capability to make 4-sided box-bends and other more complicated parts.
