Titan 25T Proper Shutdown Procedure

The Titan 25T system controller is an embedded Linux single board computer. The 25T interface doesn’t have a shutdown procedure. Simply turning off Linux boards is not a preferred way and there’s a slight chance that filesystem corruption may occur (which causes a long boot process next time the system is booted).

Thank you for the update. I will follow that approach from now on.

Good information to have, too bad they didnt put that in the manual. I wonder if that is what is causing the start/ booting and other issues for some of the units out there (meaning just flipping the switch off)?

Its running armbian Linux on an ARM processor. If you’re experienced with Linux, edit armbianEnv.txt and disable the splash screen option. Then you’ll see the boot messages and what’s taking so long.

What type of SD card did they supply with the Titan. If its slow, it can be imaged then copied to a faster / higher quality card.
