Titan 25 T assembly from crate

Here are some assembly pictures. My two cents here are that if you can’t put this together, you’re in trouble with life. Simple as pie. A forktruck to suspend it so you can bolt on the stand is a plus. Don’t unbolt it from the pallet until it is secured with a hoist or fork truck. It can fall over.

Just follow the instructions, and you guys will get this.
I have moved the rams down and up, but that is all I can do today. Sorry
Any pictures of any part are no problem. Just let me know.

I just unwrapped all my tooling. Now, I need another toolbox. I might have to visit Harbour Freight tomorrow.

For anyone who might need the DXF file for the lifting brackets for Titan, I will leave the FireShare link here for you all to take a look at. There are photos on how to install as well as the additional materials needed for the lifting and moving process.

Can’t thank you enough for taking the time to walk us through your process from picking up your new 25T and your assembly with great pictures. It looks like you have a quite nice work shop with lots of tools and machines. Your new Press Brake will be the icing on the cake! Looking forward to future posts from you as you progress and become more and more familiar with all of its capabilities. I am quite a way down the delivery date list so I will be anxiously watching and waiting. Best of luck with her!

I’m going to work about 5 am and bend some metal for you guys. Sorry I was not able to get it done today. I’m not a video maker so it will be pictures and comments.

did the lift brackets come with it? I see in an earlier post they are $29? does anybody want to make me a set?

No, you need buy them. I will send you mine if you like but it will cost almost that to ship them.

Where do you buy them? I don’t see them on the site. I see some opportunities as an 7.5’ high beam might not allow enough height to hoist it. Do you think an engine stand will do it? It almost looks like a bar going between the 2 brackets could help reduce the height of the straps/chains. If the brackets are in the final invoice then I will get them then.

It probably won’t work due to the pallet. It is bolted down and needs to be secured before you take out the bolts and brackets. Without the bottom bolted on, it has a good chance of falling over. Look at the picture I posted. I would recommend the wheel kit. After it’s together, it rolls with one finger. The base is a quarter of the weight of the machine. Without it, I would guess 800 or 900. lbs.
I don’t know when yours is shipping, but if you email Langmuir, they will add these parts to your order.

You must have spent ~$2K on tooling then?

Yes sir. I bought a Kennedy toolbox that had to be bolted to the floor. Every time I opened a drawer, it wanted to fall toward me. I was lucky to get the first machine, which was assembled and tested before I got it. I believe they used it for software testing.
