Titan 25 first bend

Ok, Ladies, here is our first bend.
Note that after moving the punch down to the hold position without using the pedal. Then tap the pedal down and up and then down and hold. There is a short delay, and you will get a screen counting down to the bend movement. If you take your foot off the pedal at this point, it will cancel the bend. After the bend, it will retract back to the clamping position.

1/4 cold roll 2" wide results are exactly 90°
Make sure when picking your die you use the one that says rizer on it if you are using the hold-down adapters. If you are using a die without the Rizer pick without.
Now it’s time to light up one of my big fat Cohibas

I hope that delay can be changed or removed?

I don’t know, but doubtful. It’s 3 seconds. Just long enough to get your fat fingers out of the way.
Can you imagine the lawsuit from an I’m going in the bending business type? I sure can.

Yes the Auto Clamp-to-Bend delay can be set to 0 seconds so that the pedal can stay depressed to go from the clamp to bend move. It can also be toggled off entirely so that the pedal needs to be triggered separately to perform the clamp and then bend move.

Let me tell you about customer service. 6 am East Coast time, and I’m on the phone with the founder of Langmuir, and he wasn’t even grumpy. Help me walk through the design workflow until we made a bent piece of 2" 1/4 steel 90°
Once you understand the workflow, you can get it done. If you have any questions, ping me on the forum, and I will do my best.

Thank God, I run presses everyday that delay would drive me crazy.

Bend delays are a nice feature, I use them if a part is a little tough to get out of the way for the next bend so nothing crashes. Also I use an infinite delay on our presses so nothing will move till we hit the pedal again, hopefully that’s a feature they included. Thanks for posting should see mine hopefully in the next few weeks!

So, Do you have a picture of the bent part ?

No, but it was a perfect 90°. I will bend some more parts on Monday morning. I will do steel, aluminum, and some 10ga SS.
Sorry about that. I’m not at work today yet…

The biggest thing that I needed to get right was the foot pedal tap sequence. Plus, the pedal itself is very lightweight and moves all over the concrete floor when I try to use my size 14 with boots on. I will mount the pedal to a steel plate with some rubber feet. I believe if I give it some weight, it will be ok.
So, you hold the Deadman buttons until the machine reaches the hold position. Then release them and tap the pedal one time and release and then tap it a second time but hold it down, which starts the timer.
Mine is set to 3 seconds, but I guess it can be modified for less or off ultimately. If you take too long it will cancel the bend. I believe this to be around 30 seconds or maybe a little less. When it is finished bending, it will retract to the hold-down position. To get back to the Home position, push the Home button.
The Create Bend tab is self-explanatory: pick the die and punch, type of metal, and thickness.
You can also select what degree you want.

Ok I sure hope I can run this thing. I don’t do good with lots of safety features.

I wont use this often enough to remember all that, at least some of it can be turned off.

You can do it. Just don’t stand on the hood😁

Size 14 is definitely not a common problem fortunately lol.

But those little foot pedals move all over no matter who you are. The one on my machine now is a double and it still moves all over. Probably why most large machines have it on a plate like you said.

The problem I have is it slides under the wood shelf.
My foot won’t fit underneath it. So, I have to bent over and fish it out from there😬. That’s a easy fix. It is a quality foot pedal don’t get me wrong. Other than that, I wish it was 8" taller. I will be fabricating two 8-inch risers for the side. You can’t go too high, or the screen will be above my line of vision. Eight should work.
I’m 6’3, and this problem may not affect everyone.

The machine is straightforward to program once you know the workflow. All the options are in the drop-down menus. They did an excellent job on this machine. It does connect to your wi/Fi but at this point I believe it is only for MC4000 updates. Again if you are going to use the die holders you’ll need to pick the options that say w/riser. You will have both. With or without on all the dies.

I got this. I was enjoying myself. It works awesome.
Tomorrow morning, I will try the back gauge moves.
If I go in early enough, no one bothers me.
