Thinking about a Langmuir?

I went to Travis Marshal’s shop and got to see his Langmuir CNC in action. He walks me through some of the how to’s and then watch as the Langmuir System Personal CNC Plasma Table cuts a project. Let me know what you think. I think I wish I had placed my order earlier.

My first look at a Langmuir in person

Ive been looking at plasma tables for three year now.I had a welding class through work at our local vocational school and the teacher let us play with a torchmate they had.Ive been obsessed ever since.I decided i wanted one and started looking.I was prepared to buy a 4x4 or 4x8 but my house was tapped out when it came to adding circuits to my breaker box.I ended up building a shop in my back yard just to make this happen…but after adding different things to the shop i was over budget and the table was going to have to wait…until i seen the ad for the cross fire. They did a great job marketing and the commercial was almost to good to be true.I was like how can it be so inexpensive and still cut like that.I decided to give it a shot and i got into the second tier on launch day.The crossfire comes well packed and is easily assembled…The design is so simple…Not alot of parts or cables. If something breaks it should be really chesp to replace. You just dont need a huge gantry to move a plasma torch around.I think when considering the crossfire you need to look at it for what it is.Yeah it doesnt have a z axis but it doesnt cost 10,000 either and you can make nice things without it.It is going to allow me to get into this hobby alot cheaper than i had planned.I think its a game changer and im very happy with my purchase.

I would have never attempted to purchase a CNC plasma table prior to seeing the ads for the crossfire on Facebook. It was priced right and the simplicity was what drew me in. I had ZERO cnc experience but I knew what they were capable of and I wanted one
